Korenthal For Water Board

The Frank Ferry Files

October 3, 2010

On September 29th, 2010 several entities associated with a construction trade organization that employs me received a letter from Santa Clarita Mayor Frank Ferry. The letter, written on City of Santa Clarita letterhead amounted to a rebuke of the trade organization for employing someone that uses high flying political rhetoric (my own description) to describe the process of the creation of a water management plan. Below are the web entries on this subject, in the order they appeared, beginning with the original Frank Ferry Letter.

Here is Ed Colley's campaign piece. Note that he calls me a lobbyist but also says I am employed as an Executive Director for (employer name). This document is in .pdf format. I suspect that mentioning employer's name directly ties Colley to Frank Ferry's letter. My employer's name does not appear on my campaign pieces or in any other campaign materials.

The letter that Mr. Ferry sent can be found here. The document is in .pdf format.

The original Signal Newspaper report and subsequent reader comment can be found here.

The item in an SCVTALK.com Daily Brief can be found along with a bunch more comments from the community here.

The followup article by The Signal Newspaper which includes quotes from the ABC Chapter President for the Los Angeles County region can be found here.

The first published letter to The Signal Newspaper on this issue can be found here. I'll link to the others as they become available online.

Here is YouTube video of the open comments made at the 10-14-10 Santa Clarita City Council Meeting by myself and David Gauny. We were commenting on the Frank Ferry Letter.

Here is an article in the Signal talking about my mention of the Ferry letter at the state of the city lunch on Oct. 14th. This article also contains an admission by my opponent Ed Colley that he knew about and approved the Ferry Letter.
